So this day have passed and i currently sitting and listening to a few intressting youtube songs. One wich is this:
While i sit and listen to songs like this, i find myself thinking “How does this song make me feel?” So ofcourse we get more questions like “How come music makes such a big impact on how i feel and my emotions?” The answer to the second question is for me atleast i can connect to it on a deeper level. But is this really the case for everyone? I ask myself if we have enough experience in our life then maybe we can connect to everything we listen to, and through that we can get to understand others in a new way that we didnt before.
I am an avid listener to the genre called nighcore, If you dont know what nightcore is:
A nightcore edit is a remix track that speeds up its source material by 10-30% which also increases its pitch. The name is derived from Nightcore, a Norwegian duo who released pitch-shifted versions of trance and eurodance songs, but now refers to any sped-up music labelled as “nightcore”.
Nightcore songs for me can lift my mood if i feel down or just have had a general bad day. Currently the nightcore song that are on my favorite list currently is the wolf by phildel have a listen.
There are some awesome musicians out there and two of the musicians that have affected my life the most are:
- Lindsey Stirling
- Yuki kayjura
Lindsey Stirlings Youtube channel if you wanna take a listen, i will leave two of her songs in this post. The first one is a favorite piece of mine that she made and also the second one is the latest song she uploaded last week.
Carol of the bells
I wonder as i wander
Yuki Kajiura doesnt have a direct youtube channel but alot of her songs are everywhere so i will leave a link to a listen. Yuki Kajiura playlist
As i did with Lindsey Stirling i will do with Yuki Kajiura, the first song is a personal favorite of mine called under the moon
The second song is called Ensei
I gotta share one more from Yuki Kajiura called My long forgotten cloistered sleep
But back to the music subject at hand, i listen to everything atleast once and all songs/music styles have affected me in various ways. It is funny that some songs that are really dark and depressing can actually sometimes end up make you think of happier things.
I hope everyone have had a good weekend and lets see what next week will bring!
